EASTER is a festival of spring. With Easter, Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the son of God.
But the celebratios of Easter have many legends that are pagan in origin and they don`t have nothing to do with God.
The name of Easter came from Scandinavian and it means fertility and spring, to represent the fertility we have the easter rabbit, anf for spring we use the easter eggs (we paint the eggs with beautiful colours to represent spring as yellow, orange, red, etc. and we give it as a gift).
For christian people in european countries easter is the pasch, this celebration represents the eight days to conmemorate the flight and freedom of the Israelitas in Egypt.
The holly week starts with the palm Sunday and finishes with the easter Sunday (day of the resurrection of Jesus Christ).
